What vibe are you tuning into this summer? What music is playing in your heart?
My heart felt quite heavy last month, with my head full of running thoughts and with some deep reflection vibe. I started this summer with the feeling of anticipation about what is waiting for me around the corner. It was not totally the heavy metal playing but a bit of ACDC was in the background. Well, I knew that this would pass as well ?
Now my heart is singing “What a wonderful world”! Even though in the back of my head there is a deep consciousness about dramatic time that many people go through in the areas of war, political extremism and so many natural disasters are happening, I still see so much humanity, respect and collaboration around me. I feel uplifted witnessing how people with whom I work in my freelance coaching activity and in the corporate context, prioritize balance in life, connection, learning, celebrating successes together and supporting each other when it is needed.
For me personally and professionally the big word for this summer is EXPANSION! It’s been 7 months since I have started driving my own business as a freelance coach, parallelly to my corporate job and at the same time levelling up my skills in the Co-Active professional coach certification and ORSC® training. I must admit, it was a lot, maybe even too much on my plate, so I had to self-manage myself well to keep my balance in this recent period. I invested a lot of work, energy, time and money in my self-development so that I can better serve to my coaching clients. And hell yes! It was so much worth it!
In fact, the expansion comes also from my fantastic clients. I am blessed with a vast diversity of clients from various nationalities, backgrounds and ways of being and doing. One thing that is common to all of them is their longing for a change, for something more in their life, be it a new job, building the new business, finding balance in their life or following their true passion, to name some of the areas I’m working on with them. All my clients want to live their own version of a truly fulfilled life. Facilitating that process of transformation and expansion is a huge privilege and responsibility.
For this summer I wish to all my past, current and future clients, and to all those of you who are not yet familiar with the coaching to find the courage and trust in the potential and unlimited possibilities that are out there and more importantly, inside each of you.
During this summer find some time to make a small travel in time. Take a moment to look in the past when you were a child. What would the 5-year-old-you advise to you for this summer?
And take yourself also to the future, next summer, what would you say to yourself from this perspective?
I feel that both my little Aga and my future Aga are both smiling to me and saying: “keep on following your passion, enjoy and stay curious. You’ve got it!” ?
It’s always the matter of choice we make. We can decide how our summer vibe will be. I am not inviting you to be naïve or numb to dramatic things happening around us, but to keep that deep consciousness that all happens as part of a much bigger picture, and it is up to you to choose what energy you allow to enter to your life.
Imagine you look at the big billboard on the road when driving to your summer vacation place. The word you are seeing is the description of your summer vibe. What is that one word that you would like to see there?
For myself, I see clearly that big, bright EXPANSION! Fierce courage, curiosity and love to myself and to others will be my supporting allies in this year summer travel. Even if some moments may get taken over by my saboteurs’ voices, I will talk to them to find out what do they need from me and how are they trying to protect me. Some years ago, one of my wise mentors said to me those simple words: “How you feel is your choice. Don’t wait too long to make up your mind.” I truly believe that we have the power of making that choice, even though sometimes it feels very difficult to do it.
